I bought two black and one brown of these port authority basic drawstring bags to replace the old sackpack I had. These sackpacks are a GREAT value - they are thin, yet sturdy, with leather reinforcements around the bottom grommets (which are sure to extend the life of these sackpacks over the ones I've previously owned).
Sackpacks are great to be able to carry around a few things when you're out for the day and can't be bothered holding a bag. They are great for vacation or a long day of walking around a big city or fair to carry around things like a book or an extra sweater or a place to put a sweater you started they day with and no longer need, etc. They can be folded away in luggage to be used when needed without taking up a lot of unnecessary space.
Just to note - the bag is just one compartment pulled together by a drawstring - if you want something with pockets or with quick/easy access, then this probably isn't going to work for you.
